Yesterday I went up to the Shenandoah National Park with a group of hikers from Central Virginia Trailblazers and hiked around Big Meadows for three or four hours.
Here is a video of some of the scenes from our adventure. It was quite strenuous from my viewpoint although most of the others seemed to take it in stride. I definitely will bring walking poles next time and probably wear long pants as well as there was lots of poison ivy along the paths!
Afterwards we had a nice meal at the lodge. It was a lot of fun and I’m ready to go again real soon!
