We stocked up on water and food and my dad even taped the window in my daughter’s room in case something comes flying through it, but my entire town was skipped. We have enough water to spare us a nuclear holocaust at the moment. I think I might just store some of the jugs of water just in case: not sure yet.
PS I am praying for all those who have been hit!
From Wiki: Hurricane Irene was a North Atlantic tropical cyclone that caused extensive damage across the Caribbean before making landfall in North Carolina, on the East Coast of the United States. It passed through New York City with relatively limited damage, but caused devastating flooding damage further inland in parts of New York State and Vermont. Irene dissipated over Quebec on August 29, 2011 and entered Atlantic Canada as a post-tropical storm.
