Well, I heard people yelling about Obama Care: “Don’t Want It! Don’t Need It! Can’t Afford it!”
Then there were the Republicans and their constant propaganda barrage about the “Socialist” programs of the “Socialist” President. (It has always been about The President, folks! The Good Ole Boys just cannot stand the idea of Obama in the White House and they have stood in front of television cameras and stated that their sole purpose and objective is to make sure Obama is a one-term President.)
Some of The wealthy private health insurers must be wetting their pants in delight that their Republican allies were such a help in turning so many Americans against a program that might save lives.
So now, America has got more than 50 million people without a shred of health insurance.

Those poor uninformed folks who listened to the Right Wing propaganda and then and went and lost their jobs along with their health insurance coverage are finding that they either can’t afford the cost of replacing their insurance or they simply cannot obtain it because of “Pre-Existing” conditions or some other probably concocted reasons by the insurers who are, in my opinion, now free to pick and choose who they will cover.
It must be really sad to have some kind of condition that requires attention and medication and to find out that you can’t afford the medicine or the doctors or the treatments. It must be doubly sad if it is your own child in need and there is no way to make the necessary payments for the child’s care.
There are, after all, limits to how many times one can visit an emergency room!
The undertakers must be rejoicing too because I have heard it said that many who cannot afford their care or medicines simply are going without it…and you know the end result of that kind of foolishness: “Here’s a nice copper vault that will withstand the stress of the ages…only $12,000 with casket.”
So what do you think the average person of average intelligence does when he or she loses their health care coverage and cannot afford to replace it or gets turned down for a new policy?
According to reports I have read, they ignore filling needed prescriptions, they try and make their medicine last longer by either cutting it in half or skipping doses, they simply refuse to take tests or treatments they might need and they put off or ignore completely going to clinics and doctors.
It’s all so sad and such a waste because that Obama Care that some of the Re-Pugs and others hate so much could have put an end to some of the worst abuses of the insurance industry, could have given more Americans new rights and benefits and could have made sure that kids get the care they need.
But no! Many of The Right Wing Extremeists and their Ree-Pug friends work hard against the idea of “Affordable Health Care” because, in my opinion, they are afraid that somebody isn’t going to make extra billions of dollars on the backs of those who can least afford to live in an increasingly more expensive and more callous Right Wing governmental model.
Oh well!
Canada has Free Health care and I understand they dearly love it!
Maybe those in desperate need can apply for Canadian Citizenship and save their own lives or the lives of their children– or maybe those who were so taken in by the Right Wing Extremest propaganda can simply vote Democrat the next time.
