New Law Would Repeal All Laws President Obama Has Signed!

It looks like we have got ourselves a Republican (Reportedly much favored by Tea Party Republicans) who wants to get some kind of legislation passed in Congress that would overturn every single thing that President Obama has signed.

Remember I mentioned “Tea Party” Republicans – - – remember that?

I have never been much of a fan of Tea Party stuff and now after hearing what this Republican Representative is considering, I am even less of a fan because I think a law like that one is totally out of reason… totally unacceptable… and maybe a little off the cliff.

Yeah!  It has been reported in a blog called “The Hill” that one Steve King (R-Iowa) is considering introducing a Bill that would have the effect of undoing every thing that The President has signed and I am sure this would include The Affordable Health Care Act among other things.

How about the extension of the unemployment benefits that the President signed some time back?  Would this new law overturn them too?  Would the unemployed who received those benefits have to pay them back?

Hey folks, I have an idea that I think is just as good as this one from the good Representative – - – How about we get a Bill introduced into Congress that would annul every single Law that every single President has ever signed, give the keys to the Congress over to the Super PACs, The Supreme Court, and all the crazies in the world of Radical Conservatism and just forget about having a country at all?

Why not just slap the corpses of The Founding Fathers in the face and tell the world, “We don’t want a representative government anymore – - – we want the intransigent and obstructionists from the Extreme Right to take over our lives and do all our thinking for us?

I knew that there were some on the Right who had declared a long time ago that their main agenda goal was to make sure Obama was only a one-term President and I thought that was bad enough because it led to the worst government gridlock in our history as far as I am concerned.

But to try to absolutely erase all effects of the President and his administration from History with some bullshit law is beyond the pale as far as I am concerned.  But then that is only my own opinion.

Here is more on this incredible story if anyone has the heart to read just where this country might be headed if people don’t wake up:

John Liming - The Liming Liberal Democrat

An American Man, born in 1938 and a Veteran of The U.S. Military. I served honorably in The United States Army (National Guard) and The United States Air Force for a total of seven years and three months active duty during what is now known as The Vietnam Era. My passion is political observation and commentary. My intention is to discuss and debate the extreme conservative ideology that is hurting The People of this Great Country. I will examine the reasons why our beloved America has become so politically divided over the past few years and provide illuminating insight into why I believe this is exactly the agenda of The "Christian" Conservative Right. Written in my own words of course, and strictly my opinion...

    • It’s getting really scary. The incompetence and ignorance is shocking.

    • The comforting thing as far as I am concerned is that the vast majority of Conservatives do not adhere to their extremest counterpart’s wild ideas. We tend to focus on the wild side of Conservatism because that is where most of the noise is. But while the ideas some of them embrace are potentially very dangerous, take heart in the fact that there is division in the ranks and the entire thing is reportedly splintering and facing an uphill battle in the days and weeks to come. Remember too that Good always triumphs in the end and some of the threats that appear so challenging may simply disappear as America awakens to what is happening out there.
