We Need To Spread The Poverty Around A Little!

As Rightie continues to pound away at President Obama’s performance with The U.S. Economy, how is it that they cannot seem to get their facts straight on the number of private sector jobs that have been created since Obama took office?

Why is it that when the Republicans are complaining about how Obama’s Economic Policies have led to more poverty in The United States, they conveniently fail to tell us that most of the poverty in The United States is in GOP-Controlled Southern States?

Is that some kind of a statement about how well Republican Economic policies work or what?

Is it possible that The Right Wing can pump enough cash into the November, 2012 Presidential Elections to virtually (Or actually) buy it?  Will we see more of what I like to refer to as “The Wisconsin Effect” which I believe was enabled by “Citizens United” and all the Super Political Action Committee Money that flowed into the recall election effort in that state recently?

Can people actually be convinced by the power of Big Money to vote against their own best interests?

“But I saw it on TV – - -”

I have a great idea and I would like to share it right here and right now with my tongue in my cheek – - – Here is what we want to do: Let us make haste to elect ourselves a Really Radical Conservative Government in November, 2012 – - – just as quick as we humanly can – - – so that we can get some more unions busted, take away some more pensions and wage increases, and spread some of that good old Self Reliant, Self Sufficient Republican Poverty to all the rest of the states as well.

Of course, we don’t want to forget to give the rich “Job Creators” a lot more and much bigger tax breaks that lower wage earners will pay for. We have all seen how giving more money to the Rich causes new jobs to be created, haven’t we?

If that theory worked, we would have so many jobs in The United States right now that they could never ever be filled.

Giving money to the Rich has not ever worked to stimulate the economy to create jobs and it ain’t about to work now.  The “Job Creators” have been getting millions in Bush Tax Breaks for at least 11 years now so my question is, “Where are the jobs?” If tax breaks to the wealthy insures job creation – - – where are the jobs?

Yeah!  We definitely need to get some Righties elected and give them control of the government so we can spread some of that good old fashioned Rightie Poverty around a little bit, don’t you think?

We shall see.

John Liming - The Liming Liberal Democrat

An American Man, born in 1938 and a Veteran of The U.S. Military. I served honorably in The United States Army (National Guard) and The United States Air Force for a total of seven years and three months active duty during what is now known as The Vietnam Era. My passion is political observation and commentary. My intention is to discuss and debate the extreme conservative ideology that is hurting The People of this Great Country. I will examine the reasons why our beloved America has become so politically divided over the past few years and provide illuminating insight into why I believe this is exactly the agenda of The "Christian" Conservative Right. Written in my own words of course, and strictly my opinion...

    • The government “giving money” to anyone, rich, poor, or in between is never the answer.

Tell me, how many jobs has Solyndra created,(other than the accounting firms involved in its bankruptcy) or any of the other pet green projects of the Obummer administration. Please, don’t bring the “Big 3″ into this conversation, the reality is that if the government hadn’t of stepped in at least two of them would have gone through the normal progression of bankruptcy and restructuring. Instead we find that private property was simply handed over to the unions. In other countries when that has been done we tend to refer to it as seizure of property or nationalizing.

Jobs are created through demand, consumer demand in one form or another. The more money a consumer is left with in their pockets the more they can satisfy their own demands.

Redistribution of wealth has NEVER worked in the real world. Here is a challenge for you.

Show me one, just one real life working model of a country that successfully redistributes wealth, where everyone lives as equals, that has a strong economy, and everyone earns a decent living. There is one caveat to this challenge, it must be on the planet Earth, and can cannot be a fictional construct or textbook theory. Good luck with that one., I am looking forward to your answer on this one as it may enlighten me and force me to rethink my “Rightie” attitude. My fate is in your hands.

BTW, don’t hesitate to inform me of any spelling errors I have made.

    • We understand there are some who crave attention and the more people they have engaging in attempting to convince them of something, the more they’ll manipulate the conversation in circles so that nothing but a lot of wasted words and a lot of energy are expended to accomplish absolutely nothing at all.
